Default Soul-crushing lag

Today I've been getting lag of up to 55 seconds. I ran a full equipment test, everything on my end checks out ok. Is this an isolated case or is anyone else experiencing it?

Not soul crushing , but for the last week my latency is around 200-300 , it is usually 100-150.

My ping stays in the 109-400 range with the occasional 10,000+ lag spike. Its weird how in my other online games I enjoy a average 30-90ms ping... When I change to GW from another game the terrible response scares me

Been like this since 2 months :/ One of the reasons I no longer play - I can't, when I get lag spikes regardless of time or district.

you realize there isn't a building somewhere that houses all the servers for every game that is being played online right? Also, a 400ms ping isn't bad unless you are monking in a tough spot or interrupting.

I was trying to illustrate my point that its not my connection that sucks, its anet or something between me and anet. My ISP has never failed me and isn't failing me for other games so why would GW get terribaed ping all the time? Keep in mind I used to get constant under 100ms while playing GW and now suddenly my character basically lags all over half the time.

I used to play ranger a lot, I still do but there it no way I am reflexing a 3/4sec cast.

I'm having a lot of lag too.

Nothing too serious. Used to be 2 rubberbanding per 10 minutes. Now its like 4-5/10min Has been this way for a long time now.

It crushed my soul when I almost lost my survivor today cause of it.

Well, okay, not a big deal, but prevented me from playing till the lag settled down.

Is it only me that thinks the powers that be (Whoever runs the show) use the LIVE servers to test the New Builds ,ie unplug a couple to test before releasing.

I haven't had much lag today, but I have noticed a lot of teammates/friends getting d'cd and complaining of lag. Guess I got lucky this time >_>
